In Tyrone, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Pennsylvania, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.
Hours are published for 6 days a week. Typical hours are 8 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (814) 669-5008. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, martinsgardencenters.com.

Tyrone is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tyrone follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

We bought over a $100 worth of plants. It took about 2 weeks to bring them back to life. This would not be a place we would recommend if your 30 minutes or further away. It's not worth the drive. Prices were average and the selection was a little above average.

Fantastic garden center that's like the Walt Disney World of gardening. Play areas for kids, food trucks, coffee bar, and an amazing selection of plants

Love this place! Healthy plants in a wide variety (native plants, indoor and outdoor plants, trees, shrubs, aquatic plants, succulents, bulbs, etc!) for very reasonable prices, as well as garden tools and supplies etc. cute garden decor and gifts. Welcoming and friendly place, everyone has been kind and helpful. There is often a food truck in the parking lot too!

Love going here and finding all the plants I want to plant in my garden. They have so many different varieties and beautiful hanging baskets. Not too bad of price either on them. The workers there are all so nice and are willing to help you out if you have any questions.
